Arizona

I had the best time in Arizona. If I had a choice I probably wouldn't have come home. I miss the people there so much!

This is somewhere in California, probably 90 miles from Arizona. There were SOOOO many windmills. The windmills provide electricity for a huge area, and there were so many of them. Literally, thousands. This picture shows a tiny little section.

The Colorado River!!! It was awesome seeing it. I guess because it's historical or something. haha. And it's cool because we were standing in California, looking at Arizona on the other side of the river. Where we were standing it was like 10:30 am, and where we were looking it was like 11:30 am. Pretty cool lol.

My friend and I. I looked dead from no sleep ok lol. No makeup, and tired face..excuse it lol 

After FOREVER (188 miles that seemed forever because it was desolate desert), we reached Arizona! 2 and a half hours and 167 miles left to go!

We stopped at this cool little town called Quartzsite. They had a bazillion rocks from all over the world.

Before you cut them they looked normal, but after they were beautiful!---------------->

We made it to Phoenix....(which looks like Downtown LA :D)

Where we drove through a super cool tunnel.

After Phoenix we reached our destination! We got settled in our hotel and got ready for the revival.

new name

I want to change my blog name to something better and my mind is dead. I can think of nothing.

Stripesss!!

Since I originally started this blog to be a modest fashion blog and have since drifted away from that, I decided I would do a fashion post today. :)

First of all, yesterday I patterned mixed for the first time ever. I loved it. It was stepping out of my comfort zone and I liked it. {plaid flannel shirt with black dress with white polka dots. Need to get picture!}

So for today, I'm talking about a favorite of mine...stripes!!!

English assignments. :)

You may know I am into creative writing, or you may not. Either way I am. :) I am taking Grammar English this year, and I much more prefer Creative Writing English, but for juniors, we are required to take Grammar and Creative Writing isn't offered. :/ So, imagine my excitement when I heard today's assignment. :)

Today's assignment was to write a small paragraph using 6 of our 12 vocabulary words. This is the story I wrote.

The boy had a propensity to partake in gluttonous affairs with alacrity and a lack of sagacity. With felicity he would scarf down his food. In the end, his felicity proved to be a fallacy when he realized his gluttony only led to obesity.

Bolded words are vocabulary words. :)

I enjoyed this assignment quite a bit.

Beach Pictures. :)

I just got done painting my nails, eating a million cookies, and receiving all the beach pictures from my friend, so I  decided to post them. My friend isn't into photography and didn't take a lot of photos, so I am kind of disappointed, but it's all right. At least we get some pictures. :)

Our bonfire. ^^^^^ It was super warm. lol almost too warm if you sat at this one table.

And it made for terrible lighting....lol I am the brunette, my bestie is the blonde.

Finally! We were trying to get an in-motion flip picture.

I like this picture because it clearly shows there is no lifeguard on duty. lol They were on top of the lifeguard station.

That is the lifeguard station they were planking on. I took this picture back in May 2011.

This was a great picture. My bestie fell backwards onto Christian (the guy, and we all fell lol as the camera captured the moment.)

We went to the most disgusting beach. lol It is the most polluted beach in California, and that might just be official.

There you can see the nastiness. I would prefer to go to a blue water beach, and obviously, this is not my first choice of beach. The water is blue...sometimes. It's mostly gross and green. It's the closest beach though, and we didn't go to swim.

octopi and such as

The beach trip yesterday was so much fun! I will try and post pictures as soon as my friend emails them to me.

• I danced on the beach with my best friend. :) lol She taught me how to waltz one time, so we demonstrated it for a friend. There we were, waltzing barefoot in the sand, the sounds of the waves crashing behind us....yeah kinda awkward...we got it on video too.
• We found a tiny baby octopus in the tidal pools.
• We found a bazillion black crabs.
• We found two red crabs.
• We found a black slug with yellow dots.
• We found shrimp
• A high man found his shoes...

I was actually at the beach with my youth group and we were playing soccer. Well, this man repeatedly was asking literally everyone on the beach if they had seen his shoes. This man was using some choice language...Anyways, eventually he found his shoes. A youth worker allowed him to sit by our fire, and he began to thank us for letting him do so, and for helping him find his shoes. Then he explained to us that his shoes cost 90 bucks and he threw in some other colorful adjectives.


My youth pastor asked him if he could watch his mouth, we were a church group after all. The man replied with, "Sorry, man, I will try to respect your wishes, but look at my eyes, look at my eyes, dude."


Our youth group could not stop laughing. Good times. Good times.


So all in all I had a great weekend. I love the beach. It's gorgeous of course. :)

We ate cheeseburgers as the sun went down, and lots of brownies too. All to the sound of crashing waves....amazing.

• We had an amazing time. God is awesome. Creation, a true masterpiece, God's masterpiece.  

oranges, the beach...

I'm sitting here eating oranges, and thinking of what I need to bring to the beach tomorrow. YAY! So excited!!! I wanted to go to the beach so badly lately. Tomorrow it might rain which is kinda sad, but eh...I'm going to the beach in the middle of January, plus I'm eating a super juicy, fresh orange. I shouldn't be complaining. :) This is the part of living in California I love.

We shall not discuss the parts I hate because right now I love my state. :)

....just not yet.

I've never been in love, and I do believe true love waits, and even though waiting is hard, I'm praying it'll be worth it.

The idea of being in love thrills my soul, fills my thoughts, and makes me happy.

I pray one day I can be in love, in love with an amazing guy who respects and loves me, and treats my like his princess.

Today I still had to go to school. :/ bleh. :)

Lately I am absolutely obsessed with these guys!!! Their voices are pretty much perfect.

Like seriously...amazing. :) And fake robbers are funny too, right?


I might cut my hair--maybe. I'm super scared though because my hair grows sooooo slooowww. I've always wanted long hair too but my hair is just really dead and dry and split, and I think it would be a good idea to cut it. I this is cute.

So I don't know, but that is all for know. :)

I'm going to Arizona!!!

I'm super-dee-dooper excited!!!!! I'm going to a youth conference in Arizona at my friend's church!!! My best friend's (basically) boyfriend lives there and her boyfriend's brother is one of my best friends! I cannot wait you guys, I am so excited!!!

I live in California (if you don't already know :p) and I'm driving 5 and a half hours and 371 miles!!

I've  been to Arizona before but only to Kingman, and at the time I lived just 3 hours away. I'm going to Mesa!!

I should probably have pictures too!!! 

It'll be my 3rd time going out of state. I've been to Las Vegas, NV and like I said, Kingman, AZ.

My two bff's and my dad are going, next Friday we leave!!! :))
