Bike-a-thon! (outfit post/life post.)

Yay for another outfit post! I love doing these! Ok so, I loved this outfit. Neon is my obsession...and I love crop tops. I took all these pictures with  my ipod in the church bathroom after the 25 mile bikathon haha.

FUN FACT: I only wear pink if it is neon. :) (some exceptions, I guess but hardly any. pink=yuck.)

NEON PINK CROP TOP: Thrift Store (less than 25 cents.)

WHITE TANK TOP: Walmart ($4.88)

DENIM SKIRT: Thrift store forever ago ($4??)

So here is where I talk about the bikathon! It was actually really fun although incredibly painful.

We got to the church at 6:00 am and then we all got into vans/trucks/cars and got to the lake where the bike trail was. We all took a picture and then we were off. The first few miles weren't bad at all, and it was incredibly peaceful. There was a heavy fog over the lake and it was beautiful, and the sun came out while I was riding and that was gorgeous too.

For the first 15 miles or so, I was pretty much riding by myself.

So around mile 15, well maybe mile 10, my friend Christian started riding with me and we finished it off together. It was nice having someone to talk to while riding, it made the last few miles pass quickly.

We found a turtle!!! (it's peeing....haha)

He was like, "No, I wanna be in the picture too!" So I had to take another one. haha

So at the end, I was EXTREMELY sore and exhausted, but I am not as sore today as I was expecting to be, probably because I ate bananas (YUCK!), took a hot epsom salt bath, and some ibuprofen.

We raised a lot of money from the bikathon, and it was a lot of fun. :) I don't want to do another one though haha

I'm also proud of myself for going all 25 miles!!! :)

Today was semi-cold. It was beautiful. I love cold weather as much as I love maxi dresses. It was somewhere between 55-60 degrees and yes, that is freezing :)

Blue And brown

My first try using the blogger app for an outfit post. :) let me know if you like it ok. :)

I wore this dress for school and for Youth group stuff and I was gonna wear it for Bible study but I don't feel so well so I came home.

The dress is from Motherhood. Yeah it's a maternity dress. Lol I got it at a thrift store.

The cardigan is from Kathy Lee collection. A friend gave it to me.

The shoes are from Hot Kiss. They were from a friend. I injured my foot and the doctor said no heels (or working out) until it gets better. Yes it's sad.

The belt is from the same thrift store as the dress.

I took the pictures in the church bathroom. I thought the sound was off on my iPod. Turns out it wasn't and it made a shutter sound when I took the picture. There were other people in the bathroom. Yeah, it was awkward. Lol

This is the outfit I wore yesterday for church. My seven year old brother took my pictures. Thanks, Jack! :)

I'm loving the color mint, but unfortunately, I don't have anything in a bright mint color like I wish. The button-up top is the closest thing I had.

The top is 3/4 sleeves, but with the heat, I rolled them up. I tied it at my waist, (one of my favorite looks.)

Everything I am wearing was thrifted. The shoes, I got at a garage sale, and everything else at this awesome little thrift store. :)

I'm excited about doing more outfit posts! :) <3

I wore this Saturday on a nice moderate day. It was only 75 degrees out with a breeze. Very pleasant.

Cold, Wet days...

So I'm really excited, I leave for winter camp tomorrow!!!! I cannot wait, but I can't tell if there is snow on the mountains because it is so overcast.

Now, I am not complaining. I love rainy, overcast days. This is especially good too because it usually means snowy mountains!!!!!!

Today, I stayed home from school due to an unexpected flat tire (not complaining there either!) and I'm not missing much. Mondays are half days and due to winter camp, there is no school the rest of the week, so hurray.

I took my siblings outside to take some pictures of them. :)

I am not good a portraits or people pictures! I want to learn more about them.

I was cleaning the bathroom, but I'm super sensitive to bleach so I went outside. I probably should have put shoes on. My feet were freezing!
