First of all, I am extremely exhausted. I've been in the hot sun for three days straight. I don't usually burn, but I did a little on my neck and i am mad about that, yes. It better turn tan soon.

I go to a little private school and my class is the biggest with 23 students. 21 participated in the yard sale. Anyways, we are raising money for our senior trip next summer and we want $800 a person. We wanted to go to Hawaii, but we will probably end up just going up the coast. It's what everyone does for their senior trip though.

We ended up raising $4200. The record for a FBA senior yard sale! Here are some pictures. :)

English assignments. :)

You may know I am into creative writing, or you may not. Either way I am. :) I am taking Grammar English this year, and I much more prefer Creative Writing English, but for juniors, we are required to take Grammar and Creative Writing isn't offered. :/ So, imagine my excitement when I heard today's assignment. :)

Today's assignment was to write a small paragraph using 6 of our 12 vocabulary words. This is the story I wrote.

The boy had a propensity to partake in gluttonous affairs with alacrity and a lack of sagacity. With felicity he would scarf down his food. In the end, his felicity proved to be a fallacy when he realized his gluttony only led to obesity.

I enjoyed this assignment quite a bit.

Randomness and Rambles.

Today was a really good day! For Christmas, I got an iPod touch, and it still hasn't arrived. Today we learned that it has been shipped (we purchased it on eBay). Anyways, it ended up being really confusing because the tracking number said it had been confirmed as delivered, but that isn't true, so hopefully everything works out with that.

I got a new Laker jersey today also, which was another Christmas present. It ended up being perfect! My dad was worried he ordered the wrong number, but it ended up being right! I have two now!






I also decided what I want to major in at college. This was a major step (wow, no pun intended! lol). It hit me while I was doing dishes. I want to major in Secondary English Education. I really do not want to be a teacher, no matter how hard everyone else wants me to be. I know I want to work with teens in the ministry someday, and I am good at English. This seemed to be the perfect choice. It would be a teaching major, but I would also have other options since it is an English major and being a high school teacher isn't really bad at all.

I really want to be a wife and mother more than anything, but having an English degree would be something to fall back on. There are other careers I am (more like thought of or was interested in) interested in such as cosmetology, personal fitness trainer, and photography, but it would seem to me that an English major would be the most logical and ethical choice.
