Nature drives

Late night posting FTW. :)

Currently I'm sitting outside, drinking a glass of water. A few minutes ago I was watching the Olympics. So proud of my country for winning gold in gymnastics and men's swimming!!! Winning a gold medal must be a crazy, surreal experience. I get goosebumps watching it! Those people worked their whole lives for that moment. It's just awesome.

Anyways, the title of this post is nature drives, so I'll get onto that.

Ever since I was a little kid, my da liked to take nature drives. We drie around looking for animals. Haha it was kinda fun.

Today we went on a nature drive (I drove :D). It was just me and my dad. There is a little reserve not too far from my house and first of all, it was a really fun drive, and second of all, it was beautiful.

We were looking for coyotes, deer, or tarantulas and we ended up seeing deer and owls and a BEAUTIFUL sunset. I love sunsets. I spammed my instagram followers with sunsets yesterday. :)

Anyways, here are some pictures my beautiful little iPod took today. You known how people name their devices? I named mine Brynna. When you plug her into the computer it says Brynna. :)) ok noooow the pictures.

Camp!!!!

Guuuyss!! I'm so stoked for camp!! (oh yeah, I said stoked!) ((a word I never say verbally lol))

It's on MONDAY!!

I'm excited for camp mainly because I get to see my Arizona peoples!!!! Aaaah!!! I only see them twice a year. When they come to our camp, and when we go to their youth conference. We are all so excited, it is hard to contain my emotions!!

Camp is from Monday-Friday so I will be gone for a while. :))

Please pray for a safe trip for everyone. There are people traveling from Arizona and New Mexico who have VERY long bus rides and then there are those of us from California who have about a. 2 hour bus ride. Going up the mountain in a bus is kinda scary and last year two buses broke down so pray for that.

And also, please pray for soft hearts. Camp is a time many great decisions are made.

If you could also pray my camera charger shows up. I want to take pictures!!

What's up with my posts?

I noticed that quite a few of my posts are getting posted randomly. I apologize if this is flooding your dash! I don't know how to stop it!

What am I?

Today I saw a few people talking about what they were as in Yankee or Southern or whatever and so I was thinking, what am I?

I'm in the Southwest. So am I Southwestern? That just sounds Texasish lol I'm basically as at west as you can get so I guess I'm western. I'm also very very South. I'm confused really. Haha

I googled it and a quote came up that I
Think is from a movie and it said "you aren't a Yankee if you're from California, you aren't really anything" ok lol thank you very much mr. Person who said that.

Then I found this quiz and I took it and it told me I was 40% Californian and said not to take the test if I wasn't even Californian. Ummm I'm 100% Californian!!! Haha I think that test as created by a non-Californian cuz it was full of stereotypes. Lol

The pictures are two screenshots from her blog. There are so many good things on that blog. So many true things. :) I like that there is a separation between NorCal and SoCal. Cuz there is a difference. NorCal is just like Oregon and Washington haha just kidding :))

I wish I could find the thing about California where it says don't call it Cali!!!! DO NOT CALL MY STATE CALI!!!! It is California!!! I don't call your state Virgi or Washi or Ari or Indi or Illi seeeeee so pleeeeaaassssseee put the fornia part on there. :) **rant over**

All that to say what am I? Lol I think I'm just gonna go with Californian. :D

I was at my grandma's for a few days and she has no Internet! So I'm home now reading blogs and instagram :) just thought I'd stop in to say hi :D

A perfect day

Before you read this know I typed it on my iPod and while I usually care about grammar and punctuation, that is not clear in this post. :)

Today was one of those days where I come home saying, "wow today was perfect." I love those days.

To start it off I went hiking to this amazing waterfall with my youth group.

Of course I went in it. :) it was cold but wonderful.

On the drive home it rained!!! WATER FELL OUT OF THE SKY PEOPLE!!! That never happens around here so it was amazing. We rolled the bus Windows's down and stuck out heads out. Pure awesomeness.

Then I went to my favorite city, Los Angeles for rescue mission and it was amazing. The sunsets are beautiful in LA.

I ate out today. I had In N Out twice!! Lol once for lunch and once for a shake and I also had el
Pollo loco.

Coming home I was satisfied with my day. It was amazing. And tomorrow I am headed to my old town. It's about 75-80 miles away and I am drivin all of it. Prayers!!! Lol it is a desert town which got
Me thinking.

I love my state because today I was at the mountains in a waterfall and if it was winter it would be all snowy and stuff and then I went to LA, a beach city really and tomorrow I'm headed to the desert. California is so diverse in people and in landscape. Best state ever? I think so! ;D

I'm posting this from my iPod because my computer doesn't have Internet right now. Posting is difficult to do on an iPod! Lol

Right now im sweating buckets in this crazy hot heat. Unfortunately, July weather has finally hit. It's 104 right now. Yesterday it was 110!

So to cool off we headed to the pool. We never really go there cuz it is isually crowded and dirty but today it was perfect.

Since I'm on my iPod I posted a picture I took and edited with an app a few days ago. :) lol

And the last picture is my right now. Sweaty and hot.

HOME! :)

I just got home a few minutes ago. :) I had a wonderful 4th of July and it was great to spend a few days with my grandma. I also just went straight to a friends house right when I got home and we did facials and had fun. So as soon as I upload all of my millions of pictures, I will be doing a few posts. :)

Going away...

I'll be at my grandma's house until Friday and she doesn't have internet, so most likely I'll be unable to post or read blogs. :(  But I don't mind seeing my grandma. :D

I also might be driving on the freeway and I am kinda freaked out. Pray!!
